I want to buy site redirect, but my hosted WP is in an IIS (Windows) server. Is it possible to redirect when the permalinks include an ugly /index.php/?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
I’m afraid that the site redirect upgrade only works if your self-hosted site shares the same permalink structure as your WordPress.com blog. If you would just like to redirect users to your new homepage, that is also possible.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Hi! Thank you timethief, druesome!
If I use the traditional “/?p=1” permalink type, the 301 redirect will work?
Many thanks in advance!

Hi again! If both the .com and .org sites use that same permalink type, and posts share the same post ID’s, then yes, that should work. :)

Then I’m afraid I’ll not benefit from redirecting! Because I can’t change the permalink type of my wp.com blog.
Thanks anyway!
