I want to cancel an included site address

    So I pay $129 a year for the domain upgrade which replaces my site’s default address with a custom choice. Instead of https://sacakat.wordpress.com, my sites available at http://sarahalison27.org/ – is it possible to change this? I created this in an excited rush, then found it wasn’t really what I wanted so not long after i paid another $34 (which is also yearly) so i could have sarahfairbairn.com. 1- is it possible to make sarahfairbairn.com my included site and if not (because maybe you can’t because it already exists) can I, 2- at least change sarahalison27.org to something else.

    Hi Sarah,

    If you would like, I can link your Premium upgrade to your new domain, sarahfairbairn.com. Then you won’t have to renew your Premium upgrade until May 24, 2016 (when your domain needs renewal).

    We can cancel your domain, sarahalison27.org, if you’d like. Because you registered it on November 20, 2014, we cannot refund the domain. We have a 48-hour refund policy on domains.

    So you are aware, if you do cancel a domain, there is no guarantee you will be able to regain ownership of it again.

    Additionally, domains cannot be edited. Once they’re registered, they are unique and permanent while they are in good standing. That’s not a WordPress.com rule, by the way, it’s just the way domain registration works :)

    You’re also welcome to make sarahfairbairn.com the primary domain on your site, so anyone who goes to sarahalison27.org sees sarahfairbairn.com in their address bar.

    YES to linking my Premium upgrade to domain, sarahfairbairn.com. I’ve already got it set up as the primary and it the address i give out.

    and YES to canceling the domain, sarahalison27.org, I know I can’t get a refund and someone could reuse the site, but that’s ok.
