I want to cancel my doamin
-
I wish to cancel my domain and request a refund, as I have been having major problems with accessing my site and WordPress have been unable to sort out the problem. WordPress Staff agree that the problem is technical. I realise that I have had the domain for 27 days, but it is no good to me if it doesn’t work properly. As the problem is with WordPress and not me, I think I am entitled to request a refund.

Your domain works perfectly fine but there’s a technical issue with your ISP. We’ve received more reports from UK users that were affected by this. You may want to try accessing your site from another location or ISP (Internet Service Provider) and see if that helps. If so, then contact your ISP to see if they can resolve the issue.
Canceling a domain means you completely give up ownership of the domain and can take up to 35 days before it will become available to register somewhere. If you would like to completely cancel your ownership of the domain name, please reply to confirm.
We are only able to offer a refund if we receive notification within 48 hours of the purchase.

That was the most unhelpful reply I have ever received!! My ISP is TalkTalk. I have contacted other WordPress bloggers that I know and they are all having the same problem. None of them are with TalkTalk.
And I have no intention of paying out for another ISP as I still have 11 months to go on my current contract. -
I wasn’t referring to the fact that you have to get another ISP, I meant you could try a different internet connection elsewhere to see if you also encounter the issue there. Just to test.
We’ll be monitoring users that have similar issues in this thread and will inform all users there accordingly:
