I want to cancel my domain, but it hasn't been sixty days yet.

I want to cancel my domain name shendasblog.com, but I can’t seem to do so because it hasn’t been 60 days. Are you able to cancel it for me? Also, would I be able to use shendasblog.com on another wordpress site?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

I can indeed cancel your domain if you’d like, but it will end up being returned to the domain registrar and then eventually to the general public at which point you (or anyone else) can re-register it. If you’d like to go that route, just let me know and for the record state the domain name that you’d like to cancel and I’ll take care of it for you!

If you’re looking to use the domain with another WordPress.com blog, especially another one which is within your same user account, I can move it for you. Just let me know which one and I can take care of that as well!

    Hi amightywp,

Thanks for the quick reply. The domain we want cancelled is http://shendasblog.com. We haven’t decided which account we want to switch it over to, so cancelling it is the best bet. Thanks for your help.

    Heya,

It sounds like you still might want to move it over to another blog. Is that the case? If so, then you might want to hang on to it. Cancelling the domain is quite a risk and can result in you not being able to get it back!

Also, just so you know, domains can only be refunded for the first 48 hours after they are purchased, so this domain would not be eligible for a refund.

So if there is even a chance you would want to use it you might want to hang on to it!
