I want to cancel my domain, forever

  I’ve been trying to cancel it for some time now, I’ve had the domain for almost a year so I can’t get get a refund (that’s totally okay), I can’t find anywhere the ‘Cancel’ Button, or a screen appears with the following information:
  ” To cancel a domain you registered with WordPress.com, please log into your account and go to My Upgrades. Click the gear icon next to the domain you wish to cancel, and click Cancel. If it’s been more than 2 days since the purchase date, you will not receive a refund but the domain can still be canceled by contacting support.”
  I’m tired of that, and when I click the” contact support” link it drives me mad because I was hoping it would take to a page with an e-mail address I could contact.
  I finally found the forums, and please, I just want to cancel my domain. The cancellation button should always work regardless of the time I’ve had the domain, having to contact support is kind of a waste of time.

  Doesn’t work my friend.

  “You can use the “Cancel” button on My Upgrades if available or Contact support if you want to request a refund.”

  The “Cancel” button is not available.

  Only custom domains can be cancelled. What is the custom URL you wish to cancel? http://somosiciam.wordpress.com/ cannot be “cancelled” it can only be set to private or deleted.

  I’d just like to confirm that you’re attempting to cancel the domain somosiciam.com. I can do that for you, however you should be aware that canceling a domain means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.
