I want to cancel my subscription immediately as I'm not getting ANY service

    I want to cancel my subscription immediately as I just signed up yesterday (Thursday) and need help today (Friday) and you’re convieniently closed until Monday. Not getting ANY service is not good enough for me so please cancel now. My receipt ID id 12653843. I expect a full refund on my visa within the 48 hours which you claimed. Thank you. H.C. MacKenzie

    Third time…I want to cancel my subscription as I’m not getting ANY help and this is incredibly annoying typing this for the 3rd time. My receipt ID is 12653843.     What does “Subscribed to this topic’ mean? Clearly, wordpress is not that straight forward as this jargon is so confusing that one needs a computer science degree to understand. All I need to know is if my visa is credited. I will take my business to a place that can assist my building process and help when needed. Thank you, Heather

    Thanks Tom, I don’t envy you. I certainly hope when ‘someone’ gets in on Monday that they can cancel my subscription immediately. I expect $42.00 credit on my visa as I signed up yesterday…(and needed help today but it is not available.)

    Most of the support is handled in the forum by your fellow bloggers – most questions have been ask and answered literally hundreds of times before you

    So if you please speak up you can probably be helped quickly – however if you expect a staff member to log into your site and build the site for you that is probably not a reasonable expectation – except for billing issues the staff like the others that help in the forum will generally point you in the right direction so that you can learn how to make your own blog

    As will all new project – you should expect to spend a bit of time learning about how WordPress works – it is fairly simple for the basics and more complex for the advanced features –

    PS – the staff is trying expanded live chat support this week – I have had 15 or 20+ “can we help you” blue boxes pop up while doing normal maintenance on my site this morning – so you might check your dashboard for that option

    You have a Live Chat feature on your dashboard, as @auxclass mentioned.
    That feature is in the bottom right corner of the screen:

    A ‘howdy’ popped up twice then disappeared. Not sure where the dashboard is but I keep looking for help at the bottom of the right hand corner…Thanks for the chat guys but what I really want are results.

    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.     No please do not do that. The last time a person did that they caused me a huge issue with Akismet as they were impersonating me and posting my tempates incorrectly into unrelated threads. I got locked out of my own accounts. I had to create a new one and Staff had a mess to rectify in form threads.

    (1) Please backlink to earlier my responses in forum threads which are very easy to find as I tag threads.

    I’ve gone ahead to cancel globalgoddess.me and have issued a full refund of $42 to you. Please note, it can take a few days for a refund to process and appear on your statement. In addition, it can take up to a week for our registrar to release a newly cancelled domain for registration elsewhere.

    Your site is still available under our free plan at peacefulgaia.wordpress.com, if you’d like to give us another try. I’d be more than happy to help out with any questions on getting setup and started. Just let me know.
