I want to change domain name

  I have decided I want a different name for my domain name and would like to cancel the one I have and get a new one. I have not blogged yet so content does not need to be transferred to the new domain.

  What is the easiest and least expensive way to do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi. If you are referring to an actual domain name (for example, __.com), you can ask for a refund only within 48 hours of the purchase.

  After that time, you may only purchase another domain (in other words: pay another domain registration fee).

  Since you were asking what was the “least expensive” way, I assumed you were talking about a __.com-kind of name.

  __.wordpress.com names are free and can be changed like this:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  If you have no content yet just register a new blog with the correct spelling and set the old blog to Private and use it for a test site – sooner or later most people want to try something new without messing with the look of their regular blog.
