I want to change my site name

    Hi, I want to change my site name from thepixieblogs to just thepixie. But – it says thepixie is already taken. However, when I search on thepixie (in wordpress) I find a message that that site/name has been deleted. Since that name is no longer in use, how might I start using it? I should be able to, since it’s no longer in use, correct??

    Hello there!

    I’m afraid that is not possible. Unfortunately, once a website is deleted you cannot retrieve its URL address, which means that the action can’t be undone nor you can’t re-use the URL related to the deleted site. That is done to respect bloggers’ ownership of their content.

    There are a few exceptions which fall into the recycling URL site address, however you case doesn’t look being one of these to me.

    Well, both sound like a nice names. Can I suggest another more?
    What about ThePixieSays?

    If I have to choose between the two you said, I’d probably go for the first one, ThePixieSpeaks.

    That’s only my personal opinion, assuming your space would be like a blog where you’ll talk about anything and everything. Am I correct? :)
