I want to change my site name to a recently deleted site name

  I created the site dnbglobaltech.wordpress.com. I wanted to change the URL to bytesoftech.wordpress.com and I did not know that I could do this within the WordPress Admin so I created a new site called bytesoftech.wordpress.com and planned to delete dnbglobaltech.wordpress.com.

  When I realized I could do this with WP Admin and there was no need for me to create the new bytesoftech.wordpress.com I deleted bytesoftech.wordpress.com. I then went to change dnbglobaltech.wordpress.com to bytesoftech.wordpress.com via the WP Admin but it said that url was already in use.

  How long will it take for my deletion of bytesoftech.wordpress.com to go through so that I can change dnbglobaltech.wordpress.com to that?

  The authors have deleted this site.

  Site deletion is a permanent and irreversible act. There are at least 3 warnings including an email verification link sent that must be clicked to delete a blog URL. https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  I am sorry but you cannot register a deleted blog URL. No one can use a deleted blog URL regardless of who registered it. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled here and you can confirm by reading:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  However, you can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

  Sorry to be the one to break the bad news, but never. Once deleted, a WordPress.com website and its URL cannot be reused, not even by the person who deleted it. This was explained during the deletion process.
