I want to change the domain name on my free wordpress site

  I want to change my domain name to another one, but I do not want to purchase a special domain name. I just want to change it to another domain name.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can make changes to your domain by clicking Store, and then My Domains in your Dashboard.

  If you don’t want to purchase a domain name, you can change it but since you have a good URL I would recommend NOT doing it. Because the old URL is dead forever if you do.

  Just register a new blog, import the contents of your old blog into it, set the old one Private, and blog away on the new one. That way you have a private blog to test themes and codes and widgets. Very handy.

  Thank you raincoaster for both pieces of advice.

  For other readers, I was not able to follow Ren’s advice because I do not have an “Edit” button next to my domain even though I am the owner. So I cannot change the free domain name, I would have to purchase one.

  Ren’s advice refers only to purchased custom domains.
