I want to change the HTML of the entire website
-
I want to change the HTML/CSS of the theme that I have. I have already gone ahead and purchased a domain name. I was under the impression that I was able to edit my website via WordPress by ‘mapping’ it to my domain name. I am still looking for hosting but i’m unsure as to which company would suit my needs.
I have downloaded a HTML/CSS editor and I already have the code written I just don’t know how to make it live via WordPress. The ‘upgrade’ feature doesn’t seem to be what I want due to the fact that it only allows you more control over the font etc. Where I am looking to change everything.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s not possible here at WordPress.COM.
Does the Custom Design upgrade let me edit HTML?
No. The Custom Design upgrade allows you to edit fonts, colors, and CSS only. You can change the appearance of a theme, but not its HTML markup or PHP code. If you require this functionality, please consider moving your blog to a web host that supports theme code modifications, suitable hosts can be found here. http://get.wp.com/hosting/ Read more about why here. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/ You can choose to apply your custom fonts or custom stylesheet to any of the themes available on WordPress.com. You can use any WordPress.com theme as a blank canvas if you check the Don’t use the theme’s original CSS option in the Appearance → Customize → CSS panel.

You seem to be confusing WordPress.ORG installs with WordPress.COM (here)

If that is why you purchased the Custom Design upgrade, apply for a refund (on the upgrades page, hover over the upgrade). Keep the domain name, but you’ll need to buy hosting, at $120 a year and up, install software from WordPress.ORG on it, and blog there in order to do what you want.
