I want to change the name of my website url

    Is there a way for me to change the name of my site? When I started this blog I hadn’t intended to share it with anyone because I wanted a safe place to complain about being a victim of society. But now that I realize I’m gifted and hilarious, I realized I need to share my literary masterpieces with the world. But the name http://www.whatwouldkarolinado.com is a disappointing url I chose when I lacked creativity. Since my friends call me Swaggolina (I’m kidding, I don’t have friends), I figured a more fitting blog name would be http://www.aswaggolinastory.com. Please help me make this name change. Thank you.

    Hi Karolina,

    To get a new .com custom domain, you’ll have to purchase one from a registrar of your choice, but since your blog is here and to make things easy, you can register one here at WordPress.com.

    Once purchased, it’s reserved in a central registry and will become your own property.
