  How do I do this without creating another blog account and without erasing the content, etc. in the current blog

  I know- I followed those steps and it was asking me to establish an entire new blog- plus, I couldn’t enter my e-mail address since it said it already had it on file for a blog

  What you’re describing sounds like you were logged out of WordPress.com when trying to create a new blog. Can you log in and head to your “My Blogs” page?

  If that doesn’t work can you upload a screenshot of what you see after clicking “Change blog address”? Thanks!
