  Hello. I am new to WordPress and cannot work out how to change the shape of my thumbnail. I want a rectangular instead of square.

  Please help me with correct site URL if you’re referring to any other site?

  Unfortunately you can’t change the size of thumbnail as it is a part of your theme but you can modify it with CSS via the Custom Design Feature.
