I want to change webaddress, or create a new one

  my web address is countrycampers3.wordpress.com
  I want to change that to midwesttruckcampers.wordpress.com That is the name we have now chosen and would like to use it to draw more people here easily. when I tried to create a whole new account it says that midwesttruckcampers.wordpress.com already exists but when you type that into google it takes you to http://www.countrycampers3.wordpress.com .

  I’ve also tried to change my user name for a couple of years now and even though I type it in it never changes.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Have you tried changing the details at https://wordpress.com/settings/account/ you will need to be logged into wordpress

  Hmm, when i go to midwesttruckcampers.wordpress.com it says it doesn’t exist yet. This means you should be able to change your blog address from the Dashboard > My Blogs section of your admin.

  yes tried to change in account setting. It will not do it.

  When I loaded midwesttruckcampers.wordpress.com in the create a blog section it tells me it already is taken. When I google or bing it:
  http://www.midwesttruckcampers.wordpress.com it takes me to my blog, countrycampers3.wordpress.com.
  so I’m lost at what to do.

  Hmm, that’s odd. Even if I go to the create a blog section it tells me it’s available.

  But, ideally, you just want to change the address of your current blog, not create a new one, correct? Have you tried changing the address of countrycampers3.wordpress.com your via the Dashboard > My Blogs section of your admin, as detailed in the link I posted above?

  Well I wanted to create a new blog. Every time I try and create a new blog is says its taken. Why in the world does it say this for me but not you????
  Changing the name of my blog was the only other thing I thought I could do. I still have not tried the dashboard idea. i’m still trying to create a new account.

  I must have been misspelling the URL or missing the second “t” or something, because now, as you can see, the URL http://midwesttruckcampers.wordpress.com/ is already registered.

  This is why you’re not able to create a blog with that address. Sorry about the confusion.

  It does say that http://midwesttruckcampers.com/ is still available, if you wanted to go for a premium URL.
