I want to claim my deleted account username

  Hey WordPress! I love you!
  I was using an account with the username sweetleafshirts. I tried to delete this account, thinking that I would be able to re-claim it in my new wordpress.com account (My new username is @shannonsabra) but when I try to re-add it, it says ‘Account deleted’.

  This username is crucial for my business that I’m just getting up and running. I really want to have the same username across all platforms, I would even PAY to have it added to my new account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)).

  Please let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do (or if you need me to prove that i used to own the name). Thanks a million <3 You guys are the best.

  I’m afraid we’re not able to restore deleted usernames. You will not be able to use this username again moving forward. I apologize!
