I dont’ use gmail usually and didn’t see how GMAIL and WP linked.
i don’t want to delete juliecanblog i want to keep that, but all the other attempts. i have a website already on wp.org with icantexplainmy feet so not sure there is any advantage to using WP.COM for the same thing -
If you would like to delete your WordPress.com site, there are options and instructions for doing so here:
Please bear in mind that once deleted, that site’s WordPress.com URL will become permanently unavailable for future use. If you feel that you might need that URL again in the future, you might want to choose one of the other options listed on the the page linked above.

i have a wordpress.org site icantexplainmyfeet.comi also have bought a new domain name juliecanblog.which i’m contemplating on how to structure a new website to display my writing and eventually publish and use to get work.
I thought i would try a sort of mock trial on wordpress.com to get an idea of how i would lay it out etc. but because i’m already on there with an additonal account for icantexplain my feet, i cant seem to get passed the password stage and have to keep creating new ones . i tried to open a new gmail account so i had a different identity.
in short can i have one user name password for all of these different names and operate them all from the same wordpress.com forum without deleting.
it seems easier just to delete all of them and start again..
can you advise. i appreciate this is sort of confusing but i seem to not be able to see the wood for the trees here.
trouble is i’m not able to give it my full attention and this project has been on hold for some months. I”m planning on getting stuck in as soon as i can clear the slate.! -
Yes, you can have multiple different WordPress.com sites under one WordPress.com user account. In fact, I unless you have a strong reason for not doing that, I would suggest it. Having multiple user accounts seems to be a common source of confusion for people. They always end up with an upgrade owned by one account and needing it owned by another (for example).

don’t understand the last sentence . Then again I have had a day of trying to communicate to robots. They have managed to resolve the issue of someone attacking my website.
I need a day to address all these technical issues as it’s built up .
i need to back up my work and not sure how to do that before i proceed.my decision is whether to just upgrade with another website on wp.org.
or try it out on wordpress .com. once i can get past the password issues. -

i have a hosted website called icantexplainmyfeet.com
what i want to do is create a new website on.com but different from icantexplain. i can’t explain is registerd on .com and i want to start a new website julie can blog and use that only… then if i get it up to a good standard i might then transfer to a hosted website on siteground who are currently hosting i cantexplain.
i have been hosted for 4 year on icantexplain
inbetween i have made a few starts with different names and bascially think it would be easier to clear icantexplain who doesnt’ need another platform as i also have a face book page .so essentially i will be looking at designing my new website on .com
and getting rid of all the other user names passwords and keep it simple

@icantexplainmyfeet Ok, you’ll need one login for WordPress.com that is separate from your hosted site.
If you’ve made multiple usernames and passwords with sites under each one, and would like to move all of those sites to one username, let us know.
We don’t actually delete the usernames; the best we can do is lock you out of them. But you can simply allow them to be inactive, and even block all email if you’d like.

Feel free to remove the others here (just know you can’t get them back if you do) :

hi guyswas it just a coincidence that i could not access my hosted website for 24 hours because you blocked it?
i was working on my website at home which is icantexplainmyfeet.com it’s hosted by siteground and i publish a monthly blog and advertise it on face book. my deadline is today
and i have had to call siteground to get them to unblock me.
is this anything to do with you guys.im quite confused with these issues generlaly which is why i want to keep i cant explain on my host account seperate from
wordpress.com juliecanblog.please don’t do anything with out asking me please . i have a lot of work to do on my blog today.

Hi @juliecanblog, Siteground is a totally separate service. Even if you have WordPress.org installed there, that’s separate from our service.
You can change your username here. Just be careful, and pick one you definitely would be OK using, since you won’t be able to get the old name back:

i got locked out of it the other day which has never happened before.
