It is just a coincidence. Though it’s possible you were confusing those usernames and passwords with the ones here, and that could have looked like suspicious activity.
I recommend not messing around with the username and password here by the way. You can change it, but be deliberate. Sometimes we’ll have folks go and try on 10 different usernames before wanting to go back to name #3 .. we cannot do that. So only change it if you’re 100% sure it’s what you want.

Hi thanks again. i have managed to delete i cantexplainmyfeet which is getting in the way.next step is just to keep juliecanblog.wordpress.com and remove the other two variants.

but as well with a different username and google email addresss.

Another thing i can’t get my head round is that, my comments from my blog that is hosted on .org, shows up in m y wp.com site icantexplain! so as a .org paid host i seem to be cross referencing!. it’s the only way i can describe it.
so in fact i have two wp.com two different email addresses.one is username juliecan do (with google)
the other icantexplain at julieconnelly @me.comas ican’t explain is a paid hosted website is there any need to have that additionally?
i guess i need to know if i just delete everything except my google account julie can blog.. and get rid of i cant explain that won’t bear any influence on my
my paid hosted account?this is a real learning curve for me. I just wish i had more time to learn it .

You are welcome to keep both sites or get rid of one, whatever you like. If you choose to get rid of juliecanblog.wordpress.com, though, please only mark it private rather than deleting it, in case you change your mind later.

https://wordpress.com/settingsJust know delete means to permanently deactivate that address. It will not be freed up again anytime soon.

hi that’s fine. i realised how to do it. the only one i have kept is
icantexplainmyfeet.com, even though that is hosted by site ground it seems to have transferred all that information onto wordpress.com and i can use that to communicate with other wordpress.com.just out of curiosity, if i did delete this, it wouldn’t have any impact on my hosted/published website?

Can you clarify what you mean by “if I delete this” ? If you delete your site it will be deleted.
If you mean you don’t want to manage it from WordPress.com that’s fine; it’s a setting in Jetpack. Or you might choose to keep the management here and just use it if you need it.

hi i guess I”m not clear on how my icantexplainmyfeet.com in wp.com and my hosted website connect.
recently i went into my dashboard to work on a post for a blog.
i noticed that a draft of a post i did on a blog prompt at wp.com was there I have never seen that happen before.i genuinely don’t understand how the two work. or interact together.
