I want to close down my blog but can’t login

  I have an old blog here which I would like to erase or password protect. But when I try to login I just get info that my account has been frozen and that I need to reset my password. But the e-mail I registered with no longer exist, so I can’t get the reset link…what do I do?

  Hello again, if you no longer have access to the email that you used to register that site and account, please be in touch with the Account Recovery team via the form at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form Give them as much information as possible including the email address you used to create the other account.

  I already tried that, but then I need one of the following:
  – Transaction id from a purchase – I haven’t made any
  – Activation URL or key – the email I signed up with jo longer exists
  – Two factor authentication codes – don’t have it for that account

  Hi, in that case it may not be possible to recover the account and delete the site or make it private.
