I want to close my account and eliminate my blog and not get billed anymore. How do I do this

  https://thegreenhouseguy.wordpress.com/ is a free site being free hosted so you cannot be billed for it.

  Are you referring to another site?
  If so what is the URL and which username account registered it and purchased the upgrade?

  Automattic Inc. https://automattic.com/ owns WordPress.com and other products like Akismet and VaultPress, etc. so this could be a charge related to one of them. It’s important to know that each charge is sent to the registered email address for each username account, so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you. Also if you have a wordpress.org account and a wordpress.com account that could be confusing you.

  We’ll be sorry to see you go! Is there anything that has caused you to want to delete your site, or do you just not need it anymore?

  If you want to delete your site and close your account, you can do the following.

  1. Delete your site using the steps in this guide:

  Delete a Website

  I had a look at your account and there are no active upgrades. If you want to double check, you can do so from your Billing History:

  https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing

  2. Delete your account:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
