I want to Create A Clickable Button in the Sidebar

I have a number of blogs. I just started a seperate forum that I want to use to link all my blogs together. I want to have in my sidebar a clickable button appropriately named “Forums”. I’ve looked for a widget or a plugin but havn’t found one. I’m sure there is some script I can use with a text widget but i’ve had no luck finding one. I made a graphic for the button so I’m set on that part (if i need one) but this is beginning to frustrate me.
Can anyone out there assist me ?

Thx for the assistance , but it doesn’t work. I tried using it with a text widget, a phpwidget & even putting it right into the sidebar code. Nothing worked

did you replace the “INSERT FORUM URL HERE” and “INSERT IMAGE URL HERE” with your own info?

yes I inserted the correct info, nothing appeared in any of the 3 forms I mentioned above

wait, a phpwidget? I’m guessing your blog isn’t hosted here at wordpress.com, right? You need to head over to http://wordpress.org/support to get your answers. Sorry :)

I tried the support forum there. there is a better chance of hell freezing over sometimes IF you even get an answer, then theres always that surly mod
though the suggestions didn’t work I want to thank you all, a much nicer & faster response then at the other forum

Most of your questions over there could have been answered by searching the forums or the codex. Gotta admit I’m surprised they replied at all.

Care to provide a link so we can see what you’re looking at? Maybe we can see what the issue is. (That’s the other issue with your posts. You never explained what you were seeing or where specifcally you were having issues.)
