I want to create a simple website with a table, NOT a blog

Hi. I just followed the step by step intro guide to create a simple business website with a data table. Suddenly I have a blog, and all I can do is make blog posts. I would therefore like to start over from the beginning and see where I went wrong. Did it e.g. at some point ask me if I wanted to create a blog or a normal website, and I pressed wrong?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

A blog is a website. The difference between blog and website is simply structure and semantics.
A blog is a post based website designed for interactive communication. As the posts are frequently updated and appear on the front page of the site it’s very attractive to search engines.
What most people call a website is merely a page based site that functions as a one-way noticeboard. As the structure is page based and as pages are for static content that rarely changes, and as pages do not have RSS feeds, and as others do not backlink to pages, it is not as attractive to search engines as a post based blog structured site is.

Hi,
Do you pay for a plan on wordpress.com? If you are paying for the free service, I believe the only format you can have is in blog form. If you consult the “Plans” page in your dashboard, it says the free plan offers a “free blog”.
Could that be the issue?

hi, could you explain to me how to create a table of 3 columns, with in the first column to be an image, in the second text and in the 3rd also text.
i have created it and in my draft visual as in html it looks great, as soon as i publish it the image is on the left on the top and both tables with text are on the right bottom, they are not lined up. honestly i do not understand why draft and published are not the same
