  I am not sure if I’ve made a blog instead of a website by accident – please help! I just want one page, a simple website but I appear to have made a blog?

  Hi there. A blog is a website, but just one that features posts rather than pages. As WordPress.com is primarily a blogging platform that is the default setting for any new site.

  However, if you prefer to have a site with only pages, you can do that here as well. See https://en.support.wordpress.com/making-a-business-website/
