I want to create an additional page to post in within my blog.

  How do I create an additional page which I can post in? The only other pages I am able to create is an about page, for example. I can write in it, put cannot create a post to that specific page. My theme is Sorbet and should be able to have multiple tabs with other pages. Is there a way to create a secondary page that I can post in?
  I want to have a tab for blog awards and have it not interfere with my regular blog posts.
