  How can I delete a domain?

  Deleting the blog cannot be undone and cached copies of the page may still exist on search engines for several weeks. Consider setting the blog to private rather than deleting. If it then comes up in search results visitor will only see a page stating that the blog is private. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  If you still want to delete it, you can do so from Tools ->Delete Blog in the dashboard. To delete your blog you must be logged in under the exact same username with which you created it. To prevent accidental deletion there will be multiple warnings that it cannot be reversed and you will have to click on a link in a confirmation email before your site will be deleted. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  If you’re speaking of a custom domain, you can only cancel it yourself within the first 48 hours after purchase. After that you’ll need staff to cancel it for you. Let me know if that is the case.
