  I want to DELETE an old WordPress site. How do I do this?

  Hello there,

  re: deleting WordPress.COM hosted sites

  All sites are independent. What you do on one or to one has no impact on any other site. To delete a WordPress.COM hosted site you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site.   Prior to deletion warnings are issued. Deleted wordpress.COM blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  Have you tried using the lost password link and then checking all likely email addresses for receipt?

  If you check each and every possible email address and account and are not successful gaining access to the blog then you must complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery so you can be contacted by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access. Support Staff cannot breach the privacy policy and provide the log-in information.
