I want to delete anything related to wordpress

  Hi, I have tried looking for a simple button that will actually delete forever anything related to wordpress.
  I let my custom domain expire and when im going to delete it it tells me I wont be able to re-register it again. Not even if I buy the domain from elsewhere?

  Just as a suggestion, it would make things 100 times easier if you just had a straightforward Delete button for everything instead of having things so complicated.

  Hi there, when you have a custom domain, it needs to be connected to a WordPress.com account so you can continue to maintain the domain through the domain manager.

  If you let your domain expire, there is no guarantee it will be released back into the pool of available domain names for re-registration. You have up to 18 days of “grace period” in which you can renew your domain at the regular price. It might eventually re-enter the pool of domain names for re-registration, but there’s no guarantee, as it could be first sold so someone who’s back-ordered the domain.

  If you want to keep the domain but not your site, you could set your site to private under Settings > Reading. That way, you’d still be able to log into your administration area to manage your domain, but the site would be hidden from people and search engines.
