I want to delete monabanzer.wordpress.com and I cannot…. why not?

  I created monabanzer.wordpress.com as a test site for this project…
  WHY CAN I NOT DELETE IT??????????

  I can only delete the pages and set it as a private site but I cannot delete the whole url and I want to as it conflicts with her site that is hosted outside of wordpress.

  Please help me.

  You should be able to delete the site following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  At which point are you running into trouble?

  i do not get a confirmation e-mail from wordpress.

  also if i have the same name in a go daddy hosted website, same name but without
  the worpress in the url dose this get effected?

  Could you check your Spam/Junk folders for the confirmation email? Sometimes emails from WordPress.com get stuck in there.

  If you still don’t see the confirmation email in your inbox, please let us know and we can deactivate your site for you.

  Deleting your WordPress.com blog will not affect any of your self-hosted sites :)
