Hi there,
I am really sorry to hear that.I must inform you that WordPress.COM accounts cannot be deleted permanently once created.
But if you still wish to deactivate your account and leave WordPress, you can follow the instructions given here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Even if you deactivate your account your username is not removed from the database, so that it’s not available to any other users when they are registering for a new account. This is done to keep you from being impersonated by anyone else.I am also tagging this question for staff attention, see what they have to say about this.
Hope everything gets resolved with you.

Hi there,
It’s natural to be worried about your account being compromised. To make WordPress.com accounts more secured, you can opt for 2 Step Authentication
https://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/If you still want to delete your account then you can leave it inactive as there is no way to delete a WordPress account once created.
1) Delete Site linked to your account
https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/Note:
Once you delete your site you can’t have the same domain name. Read the link below before doing so.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
You can instead empty your site
https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/2) Change your password to random string and leave the account inactive.
3) Change email address under Account Settings. This will help in creating another WordPress account in future with same email id as every WordPress account is linked to unique email id.
Follow this link for detailed information: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/Hope this helps!
