I want to delete my account

  Hi,

  I want to delete my account, and I have read in your help content that I cannot do that, that I should just leave my account inactive. However, that’s not what I want to do. I want to delete all posts and the account. I no longer want an account. Can you please help me with this?

  You can absolutely delete all posts and related content from your WordPress.com blog.

  Yep, I deleted the posts. But I also want to delete my account. For security purposes. I’m not going to use it, and so it needs to be deleted.

  So, as you have noted, WordPress.com accounts are permanent. There is more info on that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  If you are trying to unsubscribe from emails sent to you from WordPress.com, go to Email Delivery Settings and click on “Block Emails”:
  http://wordpress.com/#!/read/subsettings/

  Aside from that, just clear everything out from your site (and perhaps mark it as private) and you are good to go.
