I want to delete my profile (user name)

Hi, I made a blog and the blog is now delete it completely. But once I log in with the user name again I can’t delete the user name but no blog caz I once delete it. How can I remove this permanently ? Just dont need to log in again ?

Hi. According to this, you can’t delete a WordPress.com account:

So as you said, you “just don’t need to log in again”. -
That sucks. I want to delete my account too. We should be able to delete the accounts! Why WordPress Why!?

If you ever get a WordPress.org install then you will need the account to get your API keys for your plugins.

I don’t plan on getting a wordpress.org install so I don’t need my account to get API keys for plugins. It doesn’t make sense that I cannot delete my account if I am not satisfied with what I’m getting with wordpress. WordPress should allow for people to deactivate or delete their accounts!

But if you delete your account and free it up – then I could grab it and impersonate you and maybe embarrass you by my activities. Just clean out any info except your email and forget you were here.

I’m having the same problem. It’s quite an odd thing, is WordPress a cult? We should be able to delete ourself from the system.
