I Want To Delete My Site Because…..

    Hello! Hey I want to delete my site & here’s why. Recently I’ve had this creepy person follow me on my site. The person is into that erotic writing which is fine that is their choice but that’s not what I’m about on my site & I’d rather not have someone like this follow me nor like my posts. I’ve got issues with this sort of thing, plus I like to keep my blog posts family friendly.
    I did receive a response from a previous question regarding this very same thing. I asked if I could block the person completely I mean Facebook you can do that. However I was disappointed , one WordPress community member wrote that it would be hard to get the person blocked from a public blog.
    One reason I didn’t like was the Gravatar it was of a sexual graphic nature which I found highly offensive to me. People like this are a bit on the twisted side & I don’t care for that kind of behavior. These same types of people usually just don’t care & see their type of lifestyle as ok. Which it isn’t.
    So, I have to make a tough decision to delete my profile & go with another website. Sorry.

    Hi @outcast2014,

    Before deleting your site, have you considered changing your discussion settings, so that you can manually approve comments from visitors? You can also add the user’s username and/or email address in the disallowed comments field to prevent them from ever commenting on your site again. I suggest reviewing these settings.
