I want to delete site and let go of domain

  I want to delete a site and let go of a domain name for http://www.alwaysaboutgod.com When i tried to delete it said I couldn’t because of domain upgrade.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Since your site has a custom domain name linked to it, you’ll need to do one of the following:

  1. Move the domain upgrade to another WordPress.com site
  2. Transfer the domain registration to another domain registrar
  3. Fully cancel the domain

  If you want to fully cancel the domain, I can do that for you. Please note that canceling a domain means that you give up ownership of that domain name. There’s no guarantee you will be able to register and use it again in the future.

  After the custom domain is unlinked from your site, you can use the site deletion tool to permanently remove the site: Delete Site

  Please make sure to read the warnings and advice before deleting a site. We can’t restore deleted sites, and the free WordPress.com address can’t ever be used again (by you or anyone else).

  Yes please cancel the domain so that I can delete the site.
