  Deleting a WordPress.com site

  If you are looking to delete your WordPress.com site, you will have to remove these upgrades (if any) first: Premium or Business Plan, Custom Domain, Domain Mapping, Premium Theme, or any other upgrade.

  When you are done doing this, visit this page and click on the “Delete your site permanently” button at the bottom. Follow the on-screen instructions to delete your WordPress.com site.

  @thanunya9478gmailcom I just want to clarify too, if you intend to build a better site out of the existing name, please do not delete the site. That will remove the name, too, and you won’t be able to get it back.

  Instead, I recommend renaming the existing site, and keeping the old address. That would empty it out so you can use it as you’d like.
