When a blog is deleted the URL / Address of the blog can never be used again – so we usually recommend that you set it to Private in case you change your mind next year
Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading >> I would like my site to be private, visible only to users I choose
To delete a blog forever:
Dashboard >> Tools >> Delete Blog –
Notes on deleting – you must be the blog owner to delete a blog – you have to agree three times that delete means gone forever – there is also an email sent to the email of record for a blog that has a confirm link in it
