  I want a wordpress username account without the blog option. I accidentally got signed up for the blog option (see below) but want to adjust my account so as to have a simple username account so I can interact with wordpress bloggers, etc (though I don’t use wordpress for mine).

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Make the blog private so if you change your mind you can use it in the future. To change blog visibility to private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3 . See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  Thanks for the tip! I’ve just successfully made the blog portion of my account private.
