  I want to embed animated gifs and they are not animated. Also I’d like to be able to lay out the GIFs in a special way.

  Hi there,

  I took a look at the GIFs on these two blog posts:

  • Fun with animated GIFs at SFO
  • (More!) Fun with animated GIFs at SFO

  In both of those cases, the animated GIFs work great for me! :) I did have to wait a moment for the images to fully load and start animating, though. Are you having trouble seeing the animation there? If so, can you let me know what operating system and browser (including the version) you are using? That will help me troubleshoot this for you.

  Looking at the GIFs, I don’t think you will be able to lay them out in the exactly way you illustrated. You may be able to resize the GIFs to fit two on a line side-by-side, but I can’t think of a way to have them fit so close together vertically (that is, with the two vertical images overlapping vertically rather than being on completely separate lines).
