I want to follow new blogs on different themes – how do I search?

  Within wordpress itself? Under the icons on the left side I thought it might be

  Going by the title of this thread, it seems you are seeking new blogs to follow.

  Login to WordPress.com and Click on Reader. Alternatively go to https://wordpress.com/recommendations/
  Click on the themes you are interested in to find the blogs that are interesting to you.
