I want to get rid of the .wordpress.com part and use a custom domain name

  Hi,

  I just registered for a premium account. Regarding my e-mail address, I want to get rid of the .wordpress.com part and use a custom domain name. I think its by the “my domain” section but I cannot have access to the “edit domain” section. How may I do it?

  I mapped the domain I own but it dont work. Do I have to wait for WordPress staff to activate it?

  Hi Marco,

  I see that you’ve registered the custom domain loftsbiscuiterie.net. It can take a little time for a new domain to start working, but I see it working now here: http://loftsbiscuiterie.net/

  If you’d like to have an email address using that domain name, you can either set up Email Forwarding or add email hosting service as described here: Add Email
