I want to go back to the original editing window

    I’m finding the new editing window difficult to work with (there doesn’t seem to be a way to change the permalink and I don’t like the way the tags and categories are set up). I would like to go back to the old one but I don’t know how to do this.

    Howdy!

    When you visit the new editor at wordpress.com/post, you should see the following option on the top right-hand corner:

    Welcome to an easier way to create on WordPress.com!
    Missing the old editor? No worries, just switch to classic mode.

    Clicking “Switch to Classic Mode” should save your setting for six weeks and divert you back to the classic editor. Can you give that a try?
