    Hi there,

    Upgrades on WordPress.com, including domains, can only be bought for one year at a time. But once you’ve registered a domain you can go to the Purchases page and manually renew it for two more years if you want to pay for three years up front.

    Just note that if you do this, the refund period will still be only 96 hours from the time of payment. If you decide after the first year you no longer want the domain, you won’t receive any refund for the remaining years should you cancel.
