I want to have both “block search engines” and “private” for my blog…

  Hi,

  I am new from WL Space.

  I want to have both “block search engines” and “private” for my blog. I want to keep my blog as a private place so I don’t want people can visit or search my name/blog…

  But I found that in the option I just can choose one…

  are there any solutions??

  When you choose “Private” you also block search engines – they are not ones you let in.

  But my blog still can be searched by Google…

  There is no blog associated with your name – we need the URL of the blog in question beginning with http to provide more help.

  If your blog was ever not Private then Google probably crawled it and the search results will stay in Google for several months.

  I just set my test site to “Block Search Engines” and the Robots.txt file does not seem to be properly updating, so best to contact staff: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
