I want to have my content layed out in 4 boxes, like a grid, in just the front page

I want to have my content displayed on 1 page only, the front page. I want that page split into 4 boxes that I can put content into. Example, 1 box can be for blogs – and I will list out on there the blogs I want to link, and I will upate this….another box can be for links & descripitions of videos that I create….another box will be other stuff, etc, etc.

I plan to update this page, and then want to archive the page from time to time….for instance, I will have 10 links in 1 year, then, I want to archive that year and start fresh the next year….with the boxes I can fill up with links & desciption to new content.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, The Shoreditch showcase page has info on how to set up this theme: https://wordpress.com/theme/shoreditch

The special front page panel template will pull in content from child pages assigned to the front page template.

If you are looking for a grid layout on the front page, you might want to consider changing themes: https://wordpress.com/themes/free/filter/grid-layout

As far as archives, these are automatically generated by the WordPress software, so an archive for each year already exists at a special address, such as https://miweek.wordpress.com/2017/ If you decide that you want your blog posts to appear on its own separate page from a static front page, then the address might be something like https://miweek.wordpress.com/blog/2017/
