I want to hide tags on my pages
-
I have been through customs option and ticked the box for hiding the tags in the display option and have also done the same through the widgets on the tags cloud. This is making no difference and the tags still show on my pages. Please tell me how to fix.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I took a look at your site, and I don’t see the tags appearing anywhere except in the Tag Cloud Widget in your sidebar. Can you send me a link to one of the pages where you see the tags showing up? I’d be happy to take another look!

Hi Rachel,
Here is the link, http://shapirofineart.com/news-and-events/ , which is my posting page. You will not that I have selected to hide the tags through the tag widget Sidebar. I don’t understand why it is that you don’t see the tags on this page.

Hi Derek,
I think I understand now — thanks for explaining it further. :)
I see that you have the Tag Cloud widget visibility set to hide this widget on your New Art Work page, which is at the link http://shapirofineart.com/news-and-events/ . However, since this page is set to be your Posts page, it doesn’t act like a regular static page anymore.
To hide the Tag Cloud widget on that page, you’ll need to go to Appearance > Widgets, click on the widget, and then click on Visibility to get to the widget visibility settings. In the dropdown menu where you select what page to hide the widget on, select “Posts page” instead of “New Art Work.” Be sure to click Save when you’re done. That should fix it for you.
Please let me know how that works for you!

Hi Derek,
I took another look at your link, and I see the Tag Cloud widget is still showing. Would you like any additional help hiding this widget on the page http://shapirofineart.com/news-and-events/ ? I’d be happy to help with this further, if you’d like!

Hi Rachel,
Thanks for getting back to me. I haven’t had chance to do what you suggest and will get back to you as soon as I do.

Hi Rachel,
How do I re size images in the gallery slide show pages. I have followed the directions through image re sizing in the media library and updated the changes but it doesn’t make any difference? If you could take a look at the last image ‘Egremont Russet’s’ in the Still Life Gallery you will see what I mean. I would like this image,as with others, to show up smaller rather than larger than actual size.

Hi Derek,
I took a look at your Still Life gallery here: http://shapirofineart.com/2013/03/27/still-life-paintings/
The slideshow at the top of your post is part of the Photography theme. The images in that slideshow are automatically resized to be 640 pixels tall — this is part of the theme’s design. If you want to include the last image in this slideshow, I recommend resizing it to 960×640 pixels so it fits the slideshow.
If you have other questions about how the Photography theme works, you can also contact the theme author directly for additional support here:
