  I have just published a book and have it in pdf file only. I want to include it in a post and have uploaded a smaller file of it in my media. I inserted it into the post but when I try and view it in preview I can’t get it to open.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  For some reason I got it to work! Uploaded again and made certain in add media that I checked the right box lower right hand corner. Thanks!

  Just a quick question. Is there any way to imbed the file so no one can take it from my blog? I would really like to put up the high resolution version. But since I sell it I don’t want someone else taking it.

  Hi!

  If you’re uploading a PDF and embedding it into a page, I’m afraid there isn’t a way to prevent it from being downloaded. When the PDF opens up, the user could download it directly. One solution would be to upload it to a service like Scribd and then embedding that at WordPress.com:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/scribd/

  From what I’ve checked out, Scribd documents don’t have a save button so users would not be able to save the file.
