I want to keep my address editorialillusions.wordpress.com but delete content and switch to Gazette demo content

  Hi! My site is currently the demo content of a theme and when I try to switch themes the content from the first theme transfers to the second theme but I want to start fresh with the content from the second demo theme. Can you help me delete my site content and keep my address to use the Gazette demo theme just as it is? Thank you.

  Hi there,

  For the most part, changing your theme is a lot like changing the clothing on a mannequin. Your content (pages, blog posts, uploaded media) don’t go anywhere or change that much… they just assume the style of the new theme

  Or to look at it another way, when you switch themes the demo content is not loaded automatically since the theme is intended to work with the content you already have.

  To get around this I have manually added demo content for this theme. Full setup instructions can be found here: https://wordpress.com/theme/gazette
