    I want to keep my blog but I don’t want to renew. Will my domain name change or will my blog be deleted?

    When you choose not to renew your custom domain, your blog stays the same — nothing happens to the content you have there. However, your blog URL will revert back to the default WordPress.com domain — the one that looks like domain.wordpress.com.

    Please also note that once you let your custom domain expire, it’s possible you won’t be able to ever re-register it again, since expired domains are often bought at auction.
