I want to leave a site I created to another wp-user, now admin on this site

  I once created this site, but it is no longer me to maintain it. I can help every now and then, but I do not want to be the sole owner of the site but rather “contributer” or “editor” instead of admin.

  In plain – I want someone else to own the site that I once made. How can I do that? We have tried to access from the other’s account to give me another role, and I have tried to give myself another role – but it is still the same reply “this person can not be edited”.

  From this respons I can only conclude that it is as it is due to that I once created the site.

  Please help me leave the site!

  You need to transfer the blog to the second user

  While logged in as the owner – go to

  Dashboard >> My Blogs >> mouse over the blog you want to transfer

  Transfer Blog will appear – click on it and follow the instructions IMPORTANT – there is not much checking on the destination account so make sure you have spelled everything correctly – you will also be removed from the blog
