I want to make invisible pages for hyperlinking

I am writing a blog that requires linking to other pages on my site. These are pages with additional supporting definitions and information and not normal public pages. I see I can set a page to private, but if it is private will my readers be able to read it via a hyperlink? It seems private means private, my eyes only, which is not exactly what I need. I don’t want these extra pages to be public bc they are relevant only in the context of my posts.

Does this make sense? I want to create a series of pages with additional information that reside in the background, unseen, but which are accessible via hyperlinks I place in my posts. Can you help?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • I would think that if you just make pages for this purpose, but do not link to them from anywhere else on the site, you should be fine.

And no, setting the page to “private” isn’t what you want. That will add a password onto the page.
