I want to make it possible to download an mp3 I'm posting.

  I believe that I have my blog set so that mp3s I post there can’t be downloaded. But on my latest post, I would like to make an mp3 in it downloadable. Is that possible?

  Hi there,

  When you add an audio file to a blog post, by default it will embed the media player in your post so visitors can play the file right there on your blog. If you’d like, you can also add a link so visitors can download the file — you can do that for any of the mp3 files you upload.

  To add a download link like that, you can use the “Add Media” button in the post editor to select the audio file (the same way you would if you were embedding the media player in the post). After you choose the mp3 you want, you can use the “Attachment Display Settings” on the right to change it from “Embed Media Player” (which adds the media player to the post) to “Link to Media File.” That will add a link to the file into your post, so visitors can click to download it.
